Artist Gregory Maqoma, with composer Thuthuka Sibisi, reframes history to write his own personal narrative
Full body artist Gregory Maqoma reimagines the story of a 19th century Black South African choir on tour through Victorian England. Teaming-up with composer Thuthuka Sibisi, and as they travel across continents, Maqoma feels the lines disappearing between his own story and the choir's.
